What work do you carry out?
General repairs and maintenance on combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles. This includes servicing, suspension work, wheel alignment, tyre replacements, diagnostics, brakes, clutch replacements, engine work, exhaust work and aircon repairs.
Can you work on my electric vehicle?
Yes - we can maintain and service your electric vehicle. This includes suspension, brakes and tyre needs. Due to health and safety laws our mechanics are not able to carry out high voltage work such as battery replacements. This is usually dealt with under warranty via your local dealership.

Do you do MOTs?
We do not carry out MOTs on site, but for your convenience we can arrange one on your behalf where your car is with us for other repair or maintenance work. Ordinarily, 7-10 days’ notice will be required, and we do charge a handling fee.
How regularly should I get my car serviced?
Most vehicles have an orange/yellow service light on the dashboard which is activated after a certain period of time or mileage since the last service. If you do around 12,500 miles or less per year, then one service a year is often sufficient.

If your mileage is higher, it is worth having your oil changed twice a year.

HELP! What’s the difference between an interim, minor and major service? Which one do I need?
-
Interim involves an oil and filter change, checking for warning lights and topping up fluids (coolant, brake fluid, screen wash). Brakes and tyre pressures are checked but wheels are not removed.
-
Minor involves oil and filter change and general look over the vehicle. Warning lights are checked and fluids topped up. Tyre wear and tear and pressures checked. Wheels are removed and brakes are checked and cleaned. Pollen filter is also changed.
-
Major involves the same as a minor but there are additional filters changed (oil, air and fuel filters plus spark plugs where required).
-
If you regularly have services your service book (either paper or online) will have a record of what you had the previous year. Usually, you alternate between minor and major but an interim is a cheaper less in-depth option. If you aren’t sure or you don’t have records, we are able to use our diagnostic technology to determine which service you should have based on mileage and time.
Do you do discounts?
We are a member of Blue Light Card! As a thank you for all the hard work they do, we offer emergency service workers a 10% discount on services and repairs and 5% on tyre changes. All you need to do is present your card to a member of staff, and the discount will be applied to your invoice.

Also, keep an eye out on our socials for competitions for GIVEAWAYS!

How long do brake discs actually last?
It depends on the wear and tear of your brakes which ultimately comes down to mileage and how hard or late you brake. On average, new discs will last every other replacement of brake pads.

If you’re interested, we have a brake disc chart in our lounge which shows you the different variations of brake disc wear and what good/bad wear looks like.

From personal experience, we know that brake discs are a typical example of where customers feel they are upsold replacements that just aren’t needed. We will always be transparent about replacement parts, and let you know if something is urgent or whether it’s just early advisory and you have a bit more leeway.
Basically, if we don’t think you need something, we won’t try and upsell it. Safety is at the forefront for us – and we want to keep our customers happy.
